All photos for the Roll Call and Boot Camp Photos came from the Platoon 233 annual.

We apologize for the poor condition of the photos. The annual’s photos are not the best scanned.

Since its conception in 1775, The United States Marine Corps has set the standard for America's fighting forces. There is a pride and loyalty among Marines that cannot be matched by any other organization in the world. Platoon 233 have been an essential part of the Marine Corps, serving their country with unyielding dedication and sacrifice. There is no such thing as an ex-Marine. Once you have earned the title, it becomes a part of you forever.

The Platoon 233 web site is committed to keeping this brotherhood alive. With hope, this web site will give us the opportunity to get back in touch with the tradition, the values, and the pride that makes a Marine such a special breed.

At our first reunion, we had the chance to reacquaint ourselves with Marines we knew in the past.

Who knows? The buddy you have never forgotten may be there looking for you.

Since December of 1998, I have been looking for the Marines of Platoon 233.

My first reference tool has been the Platoon book with it's list of names.

My second reference tool has been from the Marines I have already found.

And for those of you that have helped in the search, my many thanks.

But it's getting harder and harder to find the rest. As of today, 57 of the 59 Platoon members have been found.

Please take your time and take a look at the Roll Call.

If you see a name or photograph of someone you know, PLEASE drop me a line or tell them about the site.

Your help in finding the missing Marines would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact me, Oliver Pettit, or you can sign the guestbook.
